"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
oh that, just go into your Edit Settings and Profile -> Identify -> avatar change just follow the rules that they give to you. then you should have it.

ah.. not really... you could always freeze frame an animation like on the storm hawks on youtube, pause it then hit the prt scr\sysrq key on your keyboard, then paste it to mspaint, edit it in paint or something and remember to make it 50x50 size and save...
